Target Audience for my magazine

My target audience has a range between teenagers to people in their late 20's. This is because it is more of a younger target audience and will be easier for me to relate to, as it is aimed at a demographic that I feel I would fit in to. However as my genre is Hardcore, the style of the magazine will seem more mature anyway, as this genre doesn't really have any childish elements to it. Therefore it may also appeal to an older target audience who enjoy this style of music. So although I will be designing a magazine with the intent of attracting people in the age range as mentioned above, overall my target audience would simply be fans of the Hardcore genre, which is a sub-genre of Rock.

The Hardcore genre is a much more specific section of Rock, as it is a lot 'heavier' meaning that the music is generally louder, with more 'aggressive' vocals and guitar lines. This means that it is a much more specific group of people that would find this magazine appealing, and it can be assumed that this group of people would have other similarities that can be played upon in order to attract them to the magazine.
