These are the second drafts of my front cover, contents page and double page spread for my music magazine, titled Feedback.
I have chosen this title for my magazine as it relates well to the genre of music I have chosen. Feedback is the word used to describe the noise that comes out of an amplifier when an instrument is plugged in to it. Amplifiers are strongly associated with the Hardcore genre of music as they are used to increase the volume of the instruments, therefore it is an appropriate name for my magazine.
From my first draft I have added a burst as a way to entice the audience in to buying the magazine. I have also made the lens flare from the light more prominent. Another way to make the magazine seem more appealing to the audience is the sell line I have added underneath the band name.

I have added another image in to the grey area on the right side of my double page spread as there seemed to be a lot of blank space there, and adding another image would be more appealing to the audience as there get to see more of this band.
I have also changed the colour of the font so that what the interviewer says is in red and the rest is in black, this has been done simply so it is more obvious who is speaking and when. Additionally I have moved some of the text so that it fits on to the page better.
Finally I have added the banner to the top left of the double page spread, simply as a way to highlight the importance of this story whilst providing the reader with the information they need in order to read more. It also filled some of the white space that was there once the introduction for the article had been moved.
For the contents page, the only real change I have made since my first draft is that I have added an extra story to the featured articles, this is because two articles seemed to be too little, and one of them was taking up more space than it needed to. Now there is more information on the page and it looks more professional.
